Do you have a little one at home that likes to help in the yard? I have a wonderful 5 year old son who just loves to be in the yard helping me trim the bushes, weed the garden, and all other things that keep me busy outside.
I love to keep my little boy involved with helping me. I went out and bought all the yard tool toys so he can help me. I got him his own toy weed eater so he will weed eat while I mow. That way I can keep him at a safe distance from the mower while he helps me. He loves to know that he helps daddy out and that he works just as hard a me too.
This is a great way to spend time with your kids. In the winter you can also bundle them up and take them outside with you. Get them a little kids shovel and they will enjoy helping you shovel the drivway and sidewalks. Then when the work is done you are ready to go sled riding and build snow men!
