We offer quality rare and flowering plants, variegated pink Episcias, garden fairies and gnomes, Cecily M. Barker Flower Fairys, Very unusual angel wing begonias

What inspired you to launch your own website?

It has been a life long dream

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

Ten years ago and the site is the same - a plant shop

How did you decide on a name for your website?

I saw a restaurant in New York with a similar name and I am very fond of the white Dove

What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?

It is a site one can enjoy. It is geared for children to view as it is a fantasy site however, it remains a business. This is a very unusual site.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

To sell and keep it for an income and to show my art work and I am very sensitive to children and their world of dreams.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

Average at this point

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

I would add to it and also design childrens items

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

Yes

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

Many. Loss of plants in severe weather. The deaths of the two people who helped me with this site.

What has been your biggest challenge?

People believing that I can succeed

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

I have received several free ads from the Wall Street Journal who advertised and pictured my fairies that I painted. Sak's Fifth Avenue who advertised my gnomes. European companies who published my fairies.

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

I expected it to be difficult

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

I have it ten years and will continue with it until it is what I want it to be - successful.
