Tips and info on how to create your own rain garden.

Describe the main purpose of your blogging, what are you trying to accomplish?

There's not a lot of information out there on rain gardens, and much of it is super-technical. This site is intended to help even gardeners who have done nothing like this before.

What blogging platform do you do and why?

I use Wordpress, because of it's ease of setup.

What do you blog the most about?

Short, easy-to-read, helpful tips.

What kind of blogs make you angry?

Political ones.

Give five of your best blogging tips.

-Lots of bullet points -Lots of illustrations -Link to other helpful sites in your blog entries -Don't be afraid to put in personal opinions

What are some things you would NEVER blog about?

Family matters.

Did you start blogging for the purpose of making money and if so, are you making enough money?

It helps advertise my business, Minnesota Rain Gardens.

How long have you been blogging?

First one.

About how many hours per day do you spend blogging?

About 1/2 hour a day.

Do you track RSS feeds and if so, how many do you usually track daily?

No.

Do you use Digg, and why or why not?

Just never got into the habit.

Do you use Stumbleupon, and why or why not?

Never heard of it.

What promotional techniques work best for you and why?

Word of mouth is always the best.

If you could post a blog on any blog in the world, which one would it be and why?

I'm doing it, and love it.

What mistakes have you made that you could warn others about?

Blogger isn't as complete as Wordpress.

Have you met anyone offline as a result of your blog?

No.
