Please give us a short summary of your website?
Dealzer offers hydroponics grow box systems. Hydroponic systems are ecosystems that grow plants, vegetables, and herbs at faster rates than traditional gardening. Hydroponics only use water and nutrients. The water and nutrients are feed directly to the roots of the plants.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
I am a gardener myself and I found the hydroponics industry to be one of the best forms of gardening. In fact, as time passes, I predict hydroponics will solve a lot of hunger problems around the world.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
I launched dealzer in June 2008. Our website has been growing at a very fast pace ever since.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
I was going to make dealzer a general store with many different products, but decided to stick with hydroponics.
What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?
Our customer service is superb.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
My goal is to provide the best customer service and attain the trust and respect of anyone who shops at dealzer.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
It's tough. I spend a lot on the site. It's still hard, but by the end of this year, all should be balanced out.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
I would buy television and radio commercial time.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
Yes.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
Well, I would possibly have to hire some help. No bid deal.
What has been your biggest challenge?
Trying to get to the top of google is a big challenge.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
I can't really say. It's a combination affect of a lot of different methods.
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
Nope.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
I am already enjoying big gains, so this will go on for years, at the very least.
What is your best selling product.
The deluxe model is out best seller. It is a very well rounded grow box.
