Think your garden is untidy? Don't remove all those dead plants yet

I was reading an article that I found fascinating today. I am a hopeful gardener that takes pride in having a spic and span garden all year round.

I always try to keep all of the dead leaves and plant matter picked up and removed from around my garden plants and flowers.

How to help your roses survive the winter

There are many factors in helping your roses overcome the frigid temperatures of winter.

The first thing to consider is the location of your plants: Are they located in a protected area, such as against the side of your house or outbuilding or in an open spot more prone to windy conditions?

I'm not a gardener by any means, but I though I could provide those who are with some reliable resources. Even those who want to start could use these to help them.

One of the most helpful websites I was able to locate for tips, growing zones, supplies, seeds and flowers was Burpee.com. It was very helpful to me and I had no idea that half of the products existed.
