How did you decide on a name for your website?
The name of our bonsai tree nursery and website was developed to open the awareness of spiritually inclined people to the beauty of trees in pots for meditative purposes. The protocol of the typical bonsai enthusiast is comprised of mostly stylization techniques and parameters that are "acceptable" in bonsai circles. Not straying away from the classical bonsai forms and styles, the word metaphysical implies a deeper relationship between the tree, the man and the surrounding universe.
Why do you find it important to have a bonsai tree nursery?
Trees are keepers of great wisdom and offer mankind many spiritual gifts and blessings including peace and sanctity. Metaphysical Bonsai hopes to raise the level of awareness and respect toward trees in our heavily developed and ever-urbanizing world. Also, I personally hope to ease mankind's burdens and anxieties just enough to let people sigh and relax, if even for a few seconds. The most profound realizations in our lives come from small moments of wonder and mindfulness, not years of drugery and toil toward a concept of success. We all need to get back to simplicity and the natural beauty of trees is one way to start the reversal.
